Fun walk to see tons of wildlife. I recommend. I encourage a snack in the restaurant. It is homemade uniqueness.

A great place to explore the wildlife in the Wetland. Learned so much about the boreal, Wetland and birds. It was really fascinating to understand that Canada has 25 percent of the world #Wetland with #Manitoba housing about 41 percent of all those.

Field trip day with my daycare kiddos! This place has really done some amazing work over the last several years. There are SO many interactive exhibits, the interpreter staff obviously respect children, and the bookable activities are numerous and age-appropriate!So very impressed. We will be back!

A fabulous "window" on Nature and "the Prairies".The "interpretive centre", open year round, is the "hub" of this large nature preserve. There is about 36 KM2 in the "Reserve" as well as many hiking trails. The trails allow one to see/experience some of the last remaining prairie in its "Natural State"-- as well as the 25 species of mammals and 300+ species of birds. The Marsh also is visited, during migration periods, by hundreds of thousands of birds daily. The interpretive centre features interactive displays and an enjoyable restaurant. Its well worth a visit-- either with a family or alone.I hope that this Review has been helpful.

This is a very good place for families to get close to nature with their children. There are many scientific activities the kids can participate in as well as a daily group of activities throughout the day. There are also many trails that you can Explorer in the area.
